Built for local impact; deep roots, clean energy, community centred.

At the heart of every project is a simple belief: green energy projects only succeed when the local community thrives alongside us. As a dedicated green hydrogen energy company, we see ourselves as more than just project developers and operators —we are long-term partners, embedded in our project communities.

We are committed to ensuring that the transition to net-zero is fair, inclusive, accessible and delivers tangible, lasting benefits for the people who live and work alongside our developments.

Our Approach: Built on Trust & Transparency

The ‘Just Transition’ is at the core of every project. Meaningful engagement is the foundation of our process. We believe that true partnership begins with listening. We don’t just share information; we listen. Community feedback directly informs and shapes our final project plans and community benefit schemes.

We are committed to providing clear, accessible data throughout every phase of our projects. We ensure that the shift to clean energy actively supports the local economy, creating a framework where sustainability and community prosperity go hand in hand.

Our Strategic Pillars

Our Community Engagement Strategy is built upon collaboration and partnerships – based on four core pillars designed to drive local wealth building, economic resilience, and long-term social value.

We believe that green jobs should belong to local people.

  • Local Recruitment: We prioritise hiring from the local project area for both the construction and operational phases. Once operational, we create skilled permanent roles and apprenticeships, providing long-term career paths that encourage people to build their futures within their home communities.
  • Apprenticeships & Internships: We look to establish on-site apprenticeship and internship programmes, providing direct pathways for local youth to enter the green energy sector.
  • Skills & Training: We invest in upskilling initiatives to ensure the local workforce is fully equipped with the technical expertise required for the emerging green hydrogen tech sector.

Our projects are a direct investment in local business & supply chains.

  • Supply Chain Localisation: During construction and subsequent maintenance, we actively seek to utilise local contractors and suppliers. Contractor consultations are carried out to enable local businesses easy access to tendering processes.
  • Supporting Local Businesses: By partnering with regional logistics and training hubs, we ensure the economic benefits of our projects circulate directly within the local economy.

We align our financial contributions with the real needs of the region.

  • Strategic Partnerships: We build robust partnerships with local authorities, organisations and community councils to ensure that financial support is directed to the groups and initiatives that need it most.
  • Social Value Investment: Beyond producing green energy, we support initiatives that tackle local inequalities and enhance community resilience. We work with residents and community groups to design a tailored community benefit scheme that funds the specific projects that matter most to our communities.

To ensure a lasting “Green Skills” legacy, we engage directly with the next generation of the local workforce:

  • STEM Workshops: We deliver educational workshops in local schools to raise awareness of hydrogen technology and climate action, inspiring young people of all ages to pursue careers in the emerging green tech sector.
  • Site Visits: We host educational tours for local students, giving them a front-row seat to see cutting-edge green technology in action.

Tailored Community Benefits Schemes

We focus on driving change from the ground-up. We know that no two communities are the same. That is why every single one of our projects is accompanied by a dedicated Community Benefits Scheme. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, we collaborate directly with local authorities, public organisations, local businesses & residents, to design a bespoke Community Benefits Scheme. By integrating community engagement with a robust Community Engagement strategy, we ensure that our green hydrogen projects serve as a true catalyst for local socio-economic and environmental growth.
