Chris is the founder and CEO of Protium, the UK’s largest dedicated green hydrogen energy company.
Previously Chris served as Chair of the UK Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Association and was an advisor to the former BEIS department in their hydrogen strategy development. Chris is also the co-host and co-founder of the leading hydrogen podcast , ‘Everything about Hydrogen’ and the Vice-Chair for Renewable UK’s Green Hydrogen Group. Chris originally began working on hydrogen through the World Bank, where his research helped secure the Bank’s first internal funding for hydrogen and other clean energy technologies.

Marco is an investor, adviser, developer, author and professor with 34 years’ experience in the energy sector. He founded and chairs Power Capital, a financial advisory firm which has won mandates of c. €13 billion since 1997. Marco is also a Senior Adjunct Professor of Energy, Resources and Environment at the Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies and the co-founder of Inspiratia, a UK based Energy and Infrastructure data & analysis provider.
He co-founded Infrastructure Journal (now IJ Global) in 1997. In the 1990s, he was an Executive Director of General Electric Capital’s projects group based in London, developing and investing in energy projects in the EMEA region.

Jon Constable

Jon is the Chief Operating Officer at Protium, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of Protium.
He has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing operations and seven years working at the executive level. Prior to joining Protium Jon was Managing Director for TPG Maritime providing atmosphere systems into the submarine market. He grew business revenues by 60% and secured long term multi-million pound contracts, in the UK and EU, for equipment and services.
Jon’s hydrogen experience includes leading Tpgroup’s green hydrogen diversification strategy, supplying fuel cells for Hydroflex leading to an EIC prize, and overseeing the manufacturing of electrolysers for oxygen production. Recently Jon has been responsible for the installation of Protium’s first hydrogen production facility.

Robin leads the Legal team at Protium and oversees all legal and governance matters relating to the company’s business. He is also Company Secretary.
Having qualified at Herbert Smith Freehills (an international law firm, headquartered in London), Robin has spent the past 20 years advising a range of energy and infrastructure clients and companies, including EdF, BG Group and BHP Billiton. He moved out of private practice in 2013 and since then has held several senior in-house legal or General Counsel roles, including with Maersk.
Robin’s career in energy has led him across the globe and he’s lived or advised on projects in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Africa, South America, the Middle East and Scandinavia, as well as the UK.

Elaine is the Co-Founder and Partner of Hydrogen Capital Partners, and HAO Capital based in Hong Kong. She has over 20 years of private equity experience in the US and Asia, and is the primary board representative from HAO Capital to its portfolio companies. She is actively involved in strategy formulation and implementation, business development, and capital market transactions. Prior to co-founding HAO Capital in 2006, Ms. Wong was a member of the Carlyle Group US Venture Partners and the Carlyle Group Asia Growth Equity partnership.

Thibauld Thuillez is Investment Director within Swen Capital Partners, and holds a 15-year experience in the infrastructure and energy space as equity investor, debt provider and financial advisor. Prior to Swen’s experience he was in charge of a team dedicated to invest into environment infrastructure projects within Caisse des depots et consignations, and he spent 10 years within HSBC project finance teams in Paris, Sao Paulo and London.
He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Ecole Centrale and from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid.

Matt is an Investment Director at Barclays Principal Investments focused on the Barclays Climate Ventures mandate. His experience spans careers across Barclays and PwC, including deal origination, execution, investment and portfolio management responsibilities built upon a strong finance and strategic planning foundation. He acts as a board director at Protium Green Solutions and SaveMoneyCutCarbon as well as a board observer at ZeroAvia, Air Protein and Brill Power. Matt is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nottingham in Finance, Accounting & Management.

Dr Jenifer Baxter is the Chief Executive of Industry Wales. She is also the Chief Engineer at the Institution for Mechanical Engineers in London.
Jenifer has a PhD from Cardiff University examining hydrogen from waste technologies, an MSc in Sustainability, Planning and Environmental Policy and a BEng in Environmental Engineering also from Cardiff University. Jenifer is a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, IOM3 and is a Chartered Engineer and Scientist.

David is the co-founder and Chair of Tribe Impact Capital, the UK’s first dedicated Impact Wealth Manager. He believes that investing into businesses that seek to create a positive impact for all stakeholders, including society and the environment will produce superior financial returns over the medium to long term. Prior to Tribe, he founded Vestra Wealth in 2008, growing the business from zero to £16bn of assets under management at the end of 2020, when the Liechtenstein Princely family through the LGT Group bought the remaining share in LGT Vestra.
He was previously a co-founder of Scott Goodman Harris, which he sold to UBS in 2004. He is also a serial investor into early stage start ups.

Emma co-founded Asper in 2016 with Luigi and Luis, with whom she had worked at HgCapital since 2008. Emma has worked in investment since 1999 and in the energy sector since 2002. During her tenure at Hg she started the renewable energy business that eventually led to the raising of Hg’s renewable funds alongside Tom Murley in 2003. Emma is responsible for Asper’s investment strategy and is Chair of the Investment Committee. She leads the origination and strategic business planning on existing platforms and new investments. Over the years she has led and managed investments, financings and exits in different markets and technologies in the UK, Ireland, Germany, and Italy.

Patrick Molloy is a Senior Associate, Industry and Heavy Transport at Rocky Mountain Institute and a recognized analyst and commentator on Hydrogen applications for Heavy Industries. He has been broadly published in the clean energy media and currently co-hosts the Everything about Hydrogen podcast. Prior to working in energy Patrick worked in Irish and European politics.
