Job Purpose

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist, who will support the People function. The successful candidate will be partnering with Senior Stakeholders throughout the business in getting them the talent they require to succeed. The talent acquisition specialist will have end-to-end management of the recruitment process from the initial brief with the hiring managers through to offer and onboarding.

Role Responsibilities

Duties may include but are not limited to:

- Develop and execute recruiting strategies using market intelligence

- Creating job descriptions and proposed salary structures for each opening

- Relationship management with recruitment agencies

- Sourcing and pre-screening candidates against open roles

- Ensuring adverts are posted across all relevant job boards/social media platforms

- Setting up interviews and supporting candidates throughout interview process

- Sending interview feedback, including rejections

- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide support or respond to queries

- Contribute to the continuous development of resourcing activities

- Ensuring you provide the best experience to both candidate and all stakeholders

- Carrying out the onboarding process for new employees

Essential Criteria

- Previous, demonstrable experience working as an in-house Recruiter within the Engineering, Transportation or Technical sectors.

- Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn

- Demonstrable experience working within in a fast paced, growing start-up

- As the successful candidate will be dealing with people on every level, they need to have excellent interpersonal skills

- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen and effectively verbalise ideas

Desirable Criteria

- 3+ years in similar role.
